it is Febuary 1st, 2026, and i just beat rayman origins. what a fun game. the game is the pure definition of fun. the controls feel really good on the hands, the art and visuals are gorgeus, and the music is stellar. it might be up there as one of my favorite 2D platformers because of how fun and sometimes challenging it can be. give it a try someday if it goes on sale on steam, or find it at a local retro game store. it is worth the seeking
Febuary 6th, 2026. Just got done with most of rayman legends. the game was really good! i thought the enviroments in the game were more unique than origins, there was a lot of content to chew thru, the art direction looks really pretty. but i still like origins more. the soundtrack in this game is, in all honesty, a downgrade from origins. i understand that they went with a different musical direction due to the leve's themes being more midevil fantasy themed instead of purely cartoony, but i dont like it! i had a lot of fun though so i think that its still a game worth playing.
